What the reviews add up to

Lucia Lagunas runs the immigration department, and hers is the name clients write down most often. She takes the first call on almost every case, decides whether it is worth filing, and the lawyers on her team carry the file from there.

The rest of the pattern repeats: professional, took the stress out, fast replies, explained clearly. Nobody praises a legal argument. They praise knowing what was happening and when.

The non-lucrative visa is the process that comes up more than any other, which matches who tends to find us: people moving to Spain to live rather than to work.

I am from Australia and needed to apply for a NIE number in Spain. Lucia and the team were incredibly helpful, especially with the process being in a different country and language. They were professional, responsive and communicated everything clearly, taking the time to explain each step in detail. The whole process was made much...

I was fortunate to find Lucia's legal business on the internet last year. Lucia and her colleague Aida gave me 100% guidance as to what documentation was required, in order to apply for the autonomo self employed Spanish visa. As I produced the documentation, it was checked thoroughly by Lucia's colleagues to avoid any mistakes....

Why we do not have a perfect score

We turn work away.

Before anyone becomes a client, a lawyer reads the actual case and gives one of two answers: we believe this gets approved, or we believe it does not. When the answer is no, we say no. We do not take the fee and file it anyway.

That answer costs us money, and once in a while it costs us a star. Some of our lower ratings come from people who were told they did not meet the requirements and did not want to hear it. We understand why that stings. We still think it is the right call. A refused application costs you months, the government fee, and sometimes your plans for the year.

We are not better lawyers than everyone else in Spain. We are just honest earlier.

The numbers behind the reviews

More than a thousand people a year hire this firm. The CRM only sees the ones who arrive through the website; a good part of the work comes in person, so the real figure sits above what any single system counts. Of the people who do write to us, only about one in six ends up becoming a client, and that is on purpose, for the reason above.

Who actually reads your case

Lucia Lagunas Reyes heads the immigration department and she is the person named in most of the reviews above. The firm has been working since 2010, out of Barcelona, and now covers Marbella and Valencia as well.

The first conversation is a paid legal consultation, not a sales call. You bring your situation, a lawyer reviews it, and you leave knowing whether it works and what could go wrong. If it does not work, we will tell you that instead of selling you an application.

Talk to us

Most clients reach us on WhatsApp because it is faster than email and works across time zones. Send us your situation and a lawyer will tell you where you stand.
